Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov has visited the Arsk region of Tatarstan. He was accompanied by the head of the district Ilshat Nuriyev.
The first in the route were the fields of the "Kyrlay" Agrofirm. The head of the enterprise Marat Karimov showed how potatoes, carrots, beets, cabbage and various types of lettuce are grown in the open field. The Kazanka sprinkler and cabbage picking equipment are operating in the fields, and several salad harvests have already been harvested this year. There are 10 tubers of Red Scarlet variety that have been formed.
Then Marat Zyabbarov studied the work of the Pioneer breeding farm. This is the only farm in Tatarstan and surrounding regions that breeds Romanov sheep (1598 heads) and cattle of the Aberdeen Angus breed (317 heads of cattle, including 120 cows). A feature of the Romanov breed of sheep is its high fertility and high adaptability of animals to various climatic conditions. Wool protects the animals: in the heat - from overheating, and in severe frosts - from hypothermia. Sheep tolerate frosts with dignity down to -30 ° C. Anguses are characterized by black color, compactness, thin and light skeleton. Thanks to this, 70% of the slaughter yield can be obtained from one animal. Meat - marbled beef - is fine-fibred, with uniform fat layers, tender, aromatic and excellent in taste.
Marat Zyabbarov also visited the Severny agricultural enterprise, a large livestock enterprise in the Arsk region with a livestock of 3195 heads of cattle (including 785 cows). The director of the enterprise, Rustam Khairullin, told and demonstrated livestock farms, the conditions for keeping calves and pregnant cows, as well as a machine and tractor fleet, a repair shop and a training class of the agricultural enterprise.
