The sore problem of agricultural producers still are the energy tariffs. As Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov noted at a recent video conference in the Government House, the average cost for electricity consumed in March was 7.7 rubles per kilowatt per hour. "It is necessary to switch to cheaper alternative sources, acquiring gas-piston power plants," the minister said.
While the majority of Tatarstan agricultural enterprises are in no hurry to purchase such installations, there are companies that have been converting gas to electricity for many years and saving millions of rubles. And by the way, today the production of gas-piston power plants in the range from 60 to 1,500 kilowatts has been mastered in our republic. The obvious pros and cons of such installations were told in the agricultural holding "Red East Agro" of Alkeevsky district.
This farm with a production capacity of 6,200 heads now contains 2,200 dairy cows and the same number of young animals. We found the milkmaids during the morning milking. Although many processes are automated here, it is still impossible to do without manual labor.
“We put the cow in its place, put the machine in, do the processing,” says Rano Safina, the operator of machine milking at Krasny Vostok Agro JSC.
The farm has a tribal status. Holstein-Friesian cows produce an average of about 25 liters of milk, and up to 7 thousand per year. Machine milking, milk cooling, and other automated processes require a lot of energy. And electricity costs a lot.
“This is a gas-piston installation, equipped with a Man engine, Leruy generator. This gas internal combustion engine consumes gas and generates electricity. We save about 400 thousand rubles per month on this complex, ”says Eric Bagautdinov, Chief Power Engineer of JSC Red East Agro.
Such installations today operate in three holding enterprises. For three years they saved 50 million rubles.
"55 even because these plants do not only generate electricity. They also produce the heat that we use to heat our premises and water for animals. As a result of investments, about 33 million for these three plants that we installed here and operating costs of about 11 million. Today, these three plants have paid off and the profit is about 10 million rubles, "says Eric Bagautdinov.
According to the chief power engineer of the holding, the only minus of such installations is the conduct of gas. The rules today are quite complicated.
Despite this, they decided to switch to gas in another farm in the Alkeevsky district. This is Khuzangaevskoye LLC. The company includes a large livestock complex and a creamery, which daily processes 35 tons of its milk. It produces butter and 8 types of cheese.
"It all depends on the type of cheese." Russian " ripens for 60 days," Tilsiter "- 25 days," Dutch "- 45. And each type is different. At the moment, we got cheese after salting," - says the technologist of the butter and cheese factory LLC " Khuzangaevskoye " Alexey Krasnoperov.
This year, the company has produced 503 tons of cheese. Demand is growing, and last year's volume is already covered.
Meanwhile, increasing production volumes of LLC Khuzangaevskoye increases electricity consumption. In the hottest time, in the summer the company spends 6.5 million rubles a month on electricity. “This year, we decided to purchase an import installation for generating electricity from gas. We thought that the savings would be around 2 rubles, and even such a small difference significantly changes the picture of expenses.
“It generates electricity of 2.4 megawatts. It’s enough. It also produces heat of 600 degrees from an atmospheric pipe. You can put a greenhouse nearby, ”explains Vladimir Mukusev, director of Khuzangaevskoye LLC.
Operating at full capacity, the installation must pay for itself within three years. In a word, although this is not an expensive pleasure, in the end, the savings are obvious.
