The event attracted a record number of participants. This year, 200 people from 43 regions of Russia attended. The event was organized by the Union of Organic Farming.

Representing the Republic of Tatarstan this year were Sergey Gogin, head of the certification body JSC RSMC TEST-TATARSTAN; Ruslan Abdreev, director of ORGANIC BIOSYSTEMS LLC; Rimma Ibatullina, director of NPI Biopreparaty LLC; and Valery Gogin, head of the regional organic product competence center.

"We didn't expect to see so many people. As we become more immersed in what you do, we understand how important it is," said Renata Bibarsova, head of the Department for Small Agribusiness Development at the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

Preliminary data from the new information and statistical compendium "The World of Organic Farming" was presented at the congress. During the plenary session, Sergei Korshunov, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Organic Farming, outlined key areas for the industry's development. He noted that the area of organic farmland in Russia has reached three million hectares. However, despite this positive trend, the sector faces challenges that require joint solutions from all market participants.

Proposals for state support for organic producers were discussed at the event. Particular attention was paid to interaction with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. Based on the discussions, a congress resolution is being prepared for submission to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the State Duma, and the Federation Council.

The congress also included discussions on the agro-technological challenges of organic farming and the use of biological plant protection and nutrition products.

This year's informal conference brought together like-minded individuals, a true celebration of organic produce, tastings of delicious, healthy, and natural organic food from various regions of our country, and a demonstration of the capabilities of a smart organic VR farm.
