Rustam Minnikhanov studied the sowing process on the fields of Arsky district

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Arsk district this morning. He was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

Immediately upon arrival, they met with representatives of the asset of the agricultural complex of the region.

As the head of the Arsky district Ilshat Nuriev reported, spring field work is in full swing. Mineral fertilizers were accumulated, taking into account the autumn application in amount of 60.1 kg.a.i./ha (on average in the republic - 59.4). 8 thousand hectares (11%) are sown in total, including 7.3 thousand ha of spring grain.

Provision with seeds is 14.4 thousand tons (or 103%). This year, 5 tractors, 1 combine harvester, 2 forage harvesters and 15 units of other self-propelled and trailed agricultural machinery were purchased.

Rustam Minnikhanov also got acquainted with the products of agricultural producers and entrepreneurs at a specialized exhibition.

According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, today almost 40% of the planned area is sown in the republic. He also noted the readiness of agricultural machinery and the provision of farmers with fuels and lubricants. The minister also specified that the southern and northern regions started sowing at different time, depending on weather conditions. In particular, in the Arsk region, sowing is just beginning. “I believe that everywhere the work has been delivered well and we don’t see any issues,” the minister said. - It rained a lot, and now we need to conduct sowing as soon as possible. All farms in all regions of the republic are working. ”

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, in turn, urged the agricultural producers of the Arsk region to use every fine day for spring field work. He also reminded that today it is especially important to protect yourself and loved ones, be attentive to your health, and comply with all recommendations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare.
