Marat Zyabbarov: In any country in the world, youth is the future of territorial development
Today, an international congress of rural youth has opened in Kazan with the participation of more than 200 delegates from Tatarstan, 50 constituent entities of Russia and 25 countries of the world. In particular, from the CIS countries, Germany, Egypt, the Congo, India, Spain, Lithuania, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Northern Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Senegal, Slovenia, Turkey and Estonia.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov addressed the youth with a welcoming speech. “In any country in the world, youth is the future of the development of territories. Today, in the agricultural sector, there is a need for young professionals to bring innovative ideas. For this reason you are here today, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister.
For the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Agrarian Youth Association, which has been organizing the congress for the last 10 years, has been a reliable partner in creating the conditions for self-realization and comprehensive development of young people living in rural settlements of the Republic of Tatarstan. During its work, AMO made a great contribution to solving important problems in working with young specialists of the Agro-industrial complex, supporting novice farmers, developing leisure for young families in rural areas and creating events of rural tourism of an international level.
“Today, the Ministry of Agriculture is doing a lot to support young people in such areas as: housing policy, educational programs for start-up entrepreneurs by the Competence Center and the Institute for Retraining of Agribusiness, grant support for beginning farmers, peasant farms / cooperatives; targeted training of students in specialized agricultural universities; support for scientific research in agriculture and many others. I’m sure that the International Congress of Rural Youth, which testifies the readiness of the young generation to engage in the development of rural territories, will serve the development and the solution of a wide range of issues regarding rural life, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.
