News from the districts: A farmer from the Almetyevsk region, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, opened a family farm for 140 heads of dairy herds

In the Almetyevsk district, a seminar-meeting on livestock farming is held weekly with the participation of the head of the district Timur Nagumanov and the head of the agricultural department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanis Sharafiev. The theoretical part of the seminar was about the establishment of an optimal microclimate in livestock buildings and the organization of proper and balanced feeding of cattle from the first days of life, and, as part of the practical, there were examples of successful work in rural areas.

On January 18, another livestock workshop was held in Oleg Slesarev's compact peasant farm. The livestock of the dairy herd is about 140 animals. In 2017, the farm received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of 5 million 760 thousand rubles for the construction of a dairy farm for 100 animals. Today it is a well-developed economy with the necessary infrastructure. So, to conduct business on the territory of the dairy farm, comfortable housing was built for staff. The farm also has its own dining room for workers and provides three meals a day.

The whole family of Oleg Slesarev is working here, including parents, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, and in the summer grandchildren also help. Everyone is trying for the benefit of their own family business. Hence the result - an annual increase in production indicators. The average productivity of cows on the farm at the end of 2019 amounted to 5356 kg. The average daily gain of young animals is up to 1 kg. The construction of a new dairy farm for 300-350 cows of the dairy herd is planned.
