The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is actively working to attract the younger generation to agricultural production and acquaintance with agricultural professions. As part of this work, agricultural departments in various areas organize excursions to farms and agricultural enterprises.

We already wrote about how Almetyevsk schoolchildren visited the Academy of Dairy Sciences, and in the Laishevsky district the ministry organized an excursion to the Narmonka agricultural firm. During the events, students can communicate with representatives of agricultural companies and agronomists, ask questions of interest.

This time, for students from the Bugulma district with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan a professional test was organised.

It is an acquaintance with a profession in practice, where a student tries himself in a particular profession in order not only to receive information, but to form a subjective idea of it.

A sample of the profession for students of the Podgornensky school was organized at the peasant farm of Arnold Malykhin, a graduate of the school who recently set up his farm of cattle breeding and forage crop cultivation. Under his control, everyone could try to control the mounted tractor unit MTZ. The work was not as simple as it might seem. The smooth and precise movements of the lifting attachment were replaced by sharp and rumbling, when young job seekers took up the control levers. “A little practice, and we will certainly learn ...” - Arnold encouraged, deftly grabbing a bale of straw with a metal paw and setting it in the right place with jewelry precision.

The second prof-test for schoolchildren was held on the territory of the Podgorny Horse-Rolling Club. The founder of the club, Gulnara Galieva, told about the four professions and the corresponding competencies applied when working with horses in her farm. Children learned about professions such as equestrian trainer, horse breeder and groom, which have their own specific differences and features. The students were given a unique opportunity to work in each of them. As a result of this meeting, the participants came to the general conclusion that the main quality for fruitful work in this area is the love for horses.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the conduct of such events aimed at the vocational guidance of graduate students. It is important not only to consolidate young specialists in the countryside, but also to help the guys who are facing the choice of their future profession to make an informed thoughtful choice. To help find your place in life and your favorite business.
