Every week we write about people who have opened their businesses in the countryside, family farms and young entrepreneurs who are engaged in their favorite business. One of these is the family of Faskhutdinovs of the Pestrechinsky district. Eight years ago they decided to open a family farm - "KFH Faskhutdinov A.Z. named after Hero of Socialist Labor Nadezhda Galochkina ", and today their farm is one of the most advanced in the area.
“I wanted to become a breeder since childhood,” says Almaz Faskhutdinov. - Therefore, after graduating from the Lenino-Kokushkinskaya school with a great desire I entered the Kazan Agricultural Institute. Having received the coveted diploma, I returned to my native village. After some discussion, my family and I decided to open a farm. Difficulties did not frighten us. My father Zinnur Zagretdinovich already worked as a veterinarian in the livestock industry, my wife Firuza was a veterinarian, too. And our mother, Firdaus Shagiakhmetovna, is an accountant by profession, helping with paperwork. ”
“We boldly began our work on the creation of a family dairy farm, thanks to the republican program to support novice farmers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and assistance of the district administration. We have allocated land in the Big Butyrki on the site of an old farm. In 2012, they received a grant in the amount of 1 million rubles. They built a building for 50 heads, animal cards, purchased cows and, as they say, rolled up their sleeves and started dairy affairs. By decision of the local settlement council, the farm was named after Nadezhda Galochkina, one of the famous milkmaids of the area, a Hero of Socialist Labor and the owner of the Order of Lenin for success in agricultural development. Earlier in our farm there were thirty heads of cows, and now the number is forty. We get 16 kilograms of milk from each cow a day, every day we have 550-600 kilograms, ”says Almaz Faskhutdinov proudly.
There is also a housing in the family farm where broiler chickens are raised. In 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan allocated about 2.5 million rubles to the farm for the development of the poultry industry.
Now in the midst of harvesting fodder, on 20 hectares of land, farmers grow and harvest hay for livestock. The arsenal has the necessary equipment: a tractor, a mower, a baler, a loader, etc. At the same time, preparations for the winter season, repair and updating of the card are underway here.
Recently, a delegation from Dagestan visited the farm, they studied the experience of the farmers with interest. “Specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as farmers in the region and the republic often visit us. We are happy to share our experience with colleagues. There are several family farms in Butyrki we work with, we treat each other with respect, ”the head of the KFH says.
“Before taking on such a complex and responsible business, we thought a lot, weighed the pros and cons,” says Firouza. - We took the risk, and we all turned out, we work with pleasure. I also work in the Pestrechinsk veterinary clinic as head of the laboratory. Our daughter Camilla will now go to the fifth grade, and son Karim to the first. By the way, he is a future cattle breeder, a successor of family traditions, here on the farm he willingly helps his father. He says he likes to care for animals, especially calves. "
