Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Yutazinsky district of the republic to familiarize himself with the spring field work.
After inspecting the fields, Marat Akhmetov met with the head of the Yutazinsky district, Rustem Nuriev, heads of farms, farmers and heads of rural settlements, spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions from residents of the region.
The head of the district briefly talked about the progress of the field work. He reported that winter crops were sown on an area of 6.8 thousand hectares, the death of winter crops was 27% of the sowing. The spring area was 29.1 thousand hectares, including 13.7 thousand hectares of spring grain: barley - 7.2 thousand hectares, wheat - 4.3 thousand hectares, peas - 1 thousand hectares. 6.0 thousand hectares were sprayed from weeds and 3.2 thousand hectares from pests. At the moment, the forage harvesting of three farms of the region has been started (KFH, Vafaulin A.A., OOO AgroMir, KFH Nabiullin I.M.).
During his visit to the Yutazinsky district, Marat Akhmetov also visited the farm of KFH AA Vafullin, which contains more than 700 heads of cattle, and also started the construction of a new complex for 250 heads. The Minister praised the technology of feeding and keeping animals on the farm, and noted that the future of the area is in intensive animal husbandry.
Marat Akhmetov also positively assessed the organization of spring field work in the region, discussed with the residents the existing problems and ways to solve them, answered questions on the implementation of measures of state support for agricultural producers and the development of small business forms.
