Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov, visited the Tukayevsky, Aktanyshsky and Menzelinsky districts to familiarize himself with the course of spring field work.
After inspecting the fields, Marat Akhmetov met with the head of each of the districts, heads of farms, farmers and heads of rural settlements, spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions.
The heads of the districts briefed on the progress of the field work. Thus, the Head of the Tukaevsky District, Fail Kamaev, noted that winter crops were sown on an area of 12.8 thousand hectares, the death of winter crops was 26% of the sowing. The reseeding is completed. The area of spring amounted to 48.5 thousand hectares, incl. spring grain - more than 31 thousand hectares: barley - 13.2 thousand hectares, wheat - 14.2 thousand hectares, oats - 1 thousand hectares. Sugar beet sowing was also completed on an area of 3.3 thousand hectares. Currently the feeding of spring crops is in process.
Sowing in the Menzelinsky district was also completed. This was reported by the Head of the Menzelinsky District Aydar Salakhov. The reseeding of dead winter crops amounted to 2.6 thousand hectares. North spring was carried out on an area of 51.2 thousand hectares, incl. spring grain - 32.6 thousand hectares: barley - 13.7 thousand hectares, wheat - 15.8 thousand hectares. “The hurricane that passed the other day destroyed the sugar beet crops on an area of more than a thousand hectares. But the necessary seeds have been purchased and in the next 3 days we plan to reseed, ”said Aydar Salakhov. Also these days the foliar application is in process.
A high percentage of winter crops lost has the Aktanyshsky district - 55% of sowing on 15.6 thousand hectares. The replanting of spring crops is done. As Engel Fattakhov reported to the Head of Aktanyshsky District, the total spring sowing in the district amounted to 64.7 thousand hectares, incl. spring grain - 33.1 thousand hectares: barley - 12.8 thousand hectares, oats - 1.8 thousand hectares, wheat - 11.9 thousand hectares, and sugar beet - 9.8 thousand hectares. A comprehensive feeding of crops, processing from pests and weeds continues. By tomorrow, they plan to start harvesting feed. The region also expressed hope in the near future to reach 200 tons of average daily milk yield, and enter the 5 best areas.
Marat Akhmetov positively assessed the organization of spring field work in the districts, discussed with residents the existing problems and ways to solve them, answered topical questions on the implementation of state support measures for agricultural producers and the development of small business forms. Residents of the regions, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the Minister for the comprehensive support in agriculture.
