Marat Akhmetov got acquainted with the course of spring field work in Mamadyshsky, Yelabuzhsky, Mendeleevsky and Tukayevsky districts of Tatarstan

Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, familiarized himself with the progress of spring field work in Mamadyshsky, Yelabuzhsky, Mendeleevsky and Tukayevsky districts of Tatarstan.

After inspecting the fields, Marat Akhmetov met with the head of each of the districts, heads of farms, farmers and heads of rural settlements, spoke about the implementation of state programs to support agricultural producers and answered questions of managers and specialists of agricultural organizations.

In the regions, despite the holidays, spring crops are sowing in full swing. In Mamadyshsky district it is planned to sow 51.6 thousand, in Elabuzhsky - 36.5 thousand hectares, in Mendeleevsky - 15.8 thousand hectares and 48.5 thousand hectares in Tukayevsky. In many farms, sowing is organized in two shifts. The bulk of the work is planned to be completed within 4-5 days.

At the special control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is the situation associated with the partial death of winter crops. In connection with this, an emergency situation was introduced in the republic on May 2, which also affected the Mamadyshsky, Elabuzhsky, Mendeleevsky and Tukaevsky districts. The death of winter crops here ranged from 10 to 16%.

Marat Akhmetov positively assessed the organization of spring field work in the regions and recommended completing sowing as soon as possible.
