“Spring this year came early. The work on harrowing perennial grasses, feeding winter crops, and harrowing of plowland is planned to start on April 12. Technique is ready for planting. On April 10, the commission, which arrived in the region from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, gave a positive assessment of the readiness of the machine-technical park, machinery for spring field work in the farms. Prior to this, on April 4, we ourselves with the commissions evaluated the readiness of the equipment, ”said Engel Fattakhov, Head of Aktanyshsky District, opening the agricultural conference which was held with the participation of heads of agricultural organizations, heads of rural settlements, farmers and responsible specialists of the area. The conference was also attended by scientists leading the main scientific activities in the field of agriculture of Tatarstan, scientists from Bashkortostan.
Director of the Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture Marcel Tagirov and specialists of the Institute told about the cultivation of regional varieties of winter and spring wheat. Vadim Sokolov, Director of the SEC “Bazy” of the Chekmagushevsky District of Bashkortostan, shared his experience in increasing the yield of grain crops. Director of the agrofirma “Aniak” Faris Fathiyev spoke about the experience of growing sugar beets. Ildar Sitdikov, director of the Berry Valley company in the Almetyevsk region, shared the features of the business of growing berries. Also in the course of the agricultural conference, the use of chemicals to protect crops was considered.
At the end of the agricultural conference, the farms were awarded the best equipment readiness for spring sowing. The prize in the amount of 100,000 rubles for the first place was received by the Chishma company, 75,000 for the second place - by the Alga company and 50,000 for the third place by the Naratly company.
In total in the republic today two districts have started spring sowing: Aktanyshsky and Almetyevsky.
“Competently and timely cultivated soil is the key to a good and rich harvest. Seeds that are sown in a moist soil have an excellent chance not only to take root and grow quickly, but also to please their host with a good harvest. The weather favors the agrarians of the Almetyevsk region. We will try to complete the sowing as soon as possible.
