Scientists at TatNIIKhS believe that no barley plant protection measure has such a high return on investment and effectiveness as seed dressing, since more than 60% of phytopathogens are transmitted through seeds. Sowing with infected seeds leads to the transfer of diseases to vegetative plants and thereby creates and maintains foci of infection in crops.

No modern livestock enterprise can be effective without modern herd management programs. The most successful managers know this, because it is impossible to effectively monitor, analyze and manage all livestock production processes on the farm without automated accounting, without which the head of the enterprise is “blind” and does not control the process on the farm, but turns into a team leader involved in the process.

The agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan do not stop working during the coronavirus infection pandemic and began to deliver products to the hospitals of Kazan. One of the first such assistance was provided by the Mamadysh factory "Alphabet of cheese".

Tatarstan is the country’s leader in terms of dairy farming, farms produce more than 6% of the total Russian milk volume.

The topic of discussion was increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and measures for the smooth functioning of the agricultural complex of Tatarstan in the pandemic.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan has opened accepting documents for grants for beginner farmers up to 5 million rubles. Much attention is paid to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the agribusiness in Tatarstan. The National Project "Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" is being implemented. Today in every district there are people who have started their business with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. One of them is Bulat Galyautdinov from the village of Yambukhtino of the Spassky district. In 2016, he received a 1.5 million rubles grant under the republican program “Beginner Farmer” for growing grain crops.
