The competitive selection of peasant farms for grants was summed up
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the summing up of the competition for the provision of grants under the federal departmental program "Development of family livestock farms based on peasant farms in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2017-2020." The total amount of grants for the winners of the contest made 350 million rubles, 203 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget (58%).
25 of 50 peasant farms from 17 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan became grant holders and in the near future will start implementing projects to develop their family farms.
In total, it is planned to finance 13 dairy farms for 1925 cows, 4 cattle feeding farms for 760 heads of cattle, 3 poultry farms for 158 thousand birds (laying hens, ducks and geese), two horse farms for 800 horses and two fish breeding farms with 43 tons of salable fish per year. Winners will receive cash grants ranging from 3.6 to 28.1 million rubles.
Due to these grants, 17 family livestock farms will be built and reconstructed in the republic, 1,846 heads of cattle (including 1,116 cows and heifers) will be acquired, 75 permanent jobs will be created.
