1 billion rubles was granted in Tatarstan under a rural mortgage program

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of June 1, the Russian Agricultural Bank has issued 468 loans totaling 1 billion rubles by the program “Mortgage Lending at a Preferential Interest Rate for Citizens of the Russian Federation for the Construction (Acquisition) of Housing in Rural Areas”.

“The average mortgage check is 2.2 million rubles. Residents of Tatarstan took advantage of the unique offer of the Agricultural Bank and purchased housing in the countryside under the rural mortgage program, ” the director of the Tatarstan RF Rosselkhozbank JSC Lyalya Kudermetova notes.

The population demanded the purchase of residential buildings (39% of the total number of applications), the purchase of apartments under equity agreements (19%) and purchase-sale agreements (33%).

29% of customers applied are interested in acquiring or building housing in rural areas with a population of up to 5 thousand people in small towns, 36% want to buy housing in settlements with a population of 5 to 10 thousand people that belong to district centers or territories with mass building.

Recall that a rural mortgage is issued at 3% per annum (2.7% for mortgage insurance) for up to 25 years, the maximum loan amount is 3 million rubles. You can buy or build a house, apartment, land in the countryside.

Any citizen of the Russian Federation can apply for a preferential rural mortgage, regardless of work or residence in the countryside, aged 21 to 65 years. For example, a person who wants to move to a village. But the construction object or land must necessarily be located in rural areas.

The list of rural territories is approved by Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 48/2-pr dated 05.03.2020. According to the normative document, rural territories include villages, towns and urban-type villages with a population of up to 30 thousand people. For example, Agryz, Aksubaevo, Apastovo, Arsk, Buinsk, Laishevo, Menzelinsk and others.
