From February 11 to 13, the Kazan Expo IEC will host the Kazan Agro 2026 exhibition. The event will bring together over 300 companies and over 12,000 specialists representing businesses, farms, research centers, and government agencies from the agro-industrial complex of the Volga region.

Today, the Ministry held a meeting to review the development of the livestock sector over the past nine months. The meeting was chaired by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Gelyus Bayazitov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Timur Galeev, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan; Rashid Akhmetov, Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan"; heads of industry departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; heads of municipal districts; heads of investment companies; and heads of agricultural departments in municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As of October 23, 2025, specialists from the Tatarstan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "AIC Quality Control Center" confirmed the quality and safety of 34,800 tons of oilseed grain intended for export.

This past weekend, traditional agricultural fairs were held in the Republic of Tatarstan at venues in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Kamskiye Polyany in the Nizhnekamsk District.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Commission on Compliance with Official Conduct Requirements for Civil Servants and Conflict of Interest Resolution, chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In St. Petersburg, a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the 8th International Fishery Forum and the Fish Industry, Seafood, and Technology Exhibition (Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2025).

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a ceremony honoring William Khamitov, a veteran of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The bees are moved to the wintering house when the weather cools, dropping to -5°C in the morning. A clear day is chosen for the removal. The hives are arranged in the wintering house so that the warmer upper racks contain the weaker colonies and the nucleus colonies with spare queens, while the stronger colonies are on the lower racks.

Last Saturday, Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited and inspected the fairgrounds on Belomorskaya Street. He observed the trading process and spoke with vendors and customers.

From July 15 to October 1, 2025, the Tatarstan branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" received 190 samples of new food and feed barley, totaling over 56,400 tons, for testing. The number of tests of this type of grain at the branch increased by 70%, reaching 5,500 compared to 3,200 last year.
