Today, the largest in Russia agricultural event starts – the Week of the agro-industrial complex, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The Republic of Tatarstan is also taking part in the event. The Republic will be represented by a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

The President of Russia awarded the head of the Aktanyshsky district of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov the title of "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation". This is reported in the decree of the head of state published on the official portal of legal information.

The Tatar national dish chak-chak has a sweet honey smell and taste. The main advantage of Kazan chak-chak is a unique recipe, which has its roots in the period of existence of Volga Bulgaria, where, according to legend, the famous Tatar delicacy appeared.

A competitive selection for participation in the Farmer's School training project has started in the Republic of Tatarstan. It is aimed at assisting in the creation of new financially stable and profitable farms, improving the efficiency of existing ones, developing and promoting the best practices of doing business in the agro-industrial complex.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a videoconference meeting on the current situation in the pig industry. The event was chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Labor, heads of major enterprises and industry unions, as well as representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the regions. The national competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia" is being held in our country for the second time. This year Tatarstan is represented by 17 enterprises, including producers of meat products, national sweets, cheeses and grape drinks.
