Concepts of AIC sustainable development and strategies of Tatarstan social-economic development

In the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan a session chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov was held today. The session was devoted to the program of the Tatarstan Academy of Science “Concepts and methodology of Tatarstan AIC sustainable development” and the program of the International Center of Social and Economic Research (“Leontyevsky Center”) “Strategies of social-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period until 2030”.

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, by January 27 the daily gross milk production has made up 2,893.8 tons, which is by 130.8 tons (5%) more than it was last year.

Tatarstan must become one of the biggest producers of potato

Deputies of the Tatarstan State Council have launched a new project under the conditions of import substitution on a local TV channel “TNV”, the 1st episode of which is devoted to potato. The co-presenter of the new program is the Chairman of the Ecology, Environmental Management and Agricultural Policy Committee of the Tatarstan Sate Council Takhir Khadeyev.

Marat Akhmetov: “This year we must provide Russian population with domestic foodstuffs”

A session of the Directorate of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision for the Republic of Tatarstan and the General Directorate for Veterinary of the Tatarstan Cabinet took place today in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the session, the results of work for 2014 and the tasks and prospects for 2015 were discussed.

Machinery is to be ready for spring field works 2015 by April 1

Engineers have the task to prepare trucks, sowing and tillage machines for the campaign by April 1, 2015.

According to the AIC engineering department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, there are about 700 repair facilities, over 800 maintenance facilities, about 3,000 skilled mechanizers and locksmiths in the republic.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation participated in Berlin summit of agricultural ministers.

In his speech Nikolai Fedorov emphasized the importance of striking the balance concerning the use of agricultural products for food and non-food purposes. “We must make maximum efforts to solve the task outlined in the UN Declaration “Millennium Development Goals”. The point at issue is how to provide necessitous public with foodstuff. Only after that we can think of diversification of agricultural products use for non-food purposes, including power production”, emphasized the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
