294,500 ha have been Sowed with Winter Crops

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan 1,186,200 ha with grain crops and pulses have been thrashed in the republic by September 1, which makes up 76% of the total area. 194,800 ha with spring wheat, 368,700 ha with barley and 66,600 ha with oat have been thrashed.

2,655,100 tons of crops have been milled in the republic, including 408,300 tons of spring wheat, 858,100 tons of barley and 144,200 tons of oats.

The average crop yield is 22.4 dt/ha.

In different districts of the republic 2,789,200 tons of haylage and 209,500 tons of silage have been preserved.

294,500 ha have been sowed with winter crops, which is 42% of the total area.
