On June 26, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Uvaydov visited Kazan State Agrarian University and Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, where he met with the leadership of universities, representatives of the workforce and students. He was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Oleg Zemskov, the rector of the KSAU Ayrat Valiev, the vice-rector for educational work of the Veterinary Academy Ali Volkov and other officials.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan informs that MGIMO continues to accept people for the master's program “World Agrarian Markets” of the department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia “International Agrarian Markets and Foreign Economic Activity in the Agro-Industrial Complex”.

From January 1, 2020, the program of preferential mortgage in the village will begin to operate. The draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation provides the establishment of an initial fee for a rural mortgage of 10% per annum.

From May 14 to May 16 in Moscow at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements, in Pavilion No. 75, the Farmer's Life 2019 salon will be held. An exhibition and fair will last all days for the salon visitors. The event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management.

On April 16, the final meeting of the Board was held in the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexey Gordeyev, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management Alexey Mayorov, Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma on Agrarian Issues Vladimir Kashin, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, as well as heads of regions, heads of regional authorities of the agroindustrial complex, industry alliances and associations.

MGIMO is launching the first in Russia master program in management training for the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The Master in World Agrarian Markets is focused primarily on training high-level specialists who can effectively represent the interests of the country on world agricultural markets. The program is implemented in cooperation with the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Moscow Agricultural Academy  Timiryazeva and Kuban State Agrarian University.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has agreed with the Federal Antimonopoly Service on the limits of the minimum prices for grain of the 2019 crop in case of making interventions in 2019-2020.

An expert working group under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture prepared a draft Strategy for the Development of Horse Breeding of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025. The project provides a systematic solution of issues of domestic horse breeding development , its resource and financial support.
