Today, a meeting of the working group on attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry, chaired by Anatoly Ivanov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Lenar Garipov emphasized that, as part of creating the conditions for successful production growth, the national technological leadership project "Technological Support for Food Security" has been implemented in the republic since the beginning of this year.
Five federal projects are being implemented within the framework of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security": "Creating Conditions for the Development of Scientific Research in Breeding and Genetics"; "Veterinary Drugs"; "Technical and Technological Independence of Agriculture, Food, and Processing Industries"; "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex"; "Production of Critically Important Enzyme Preparations, Food and Feed Additives, and Process Aids."
Valentin Spichkov, Head of the Food Market Development Department, reported on the implementation of the federal project "Production of Critically Important Enzyme Preparations, Food and Feed Additives, and Process Aids."
Salavat Sakhabutdinov, Acting Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Agricultural Export Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the activities of the federal project "Export of Agricultural Products" within the national project "International Cooperation and Export." "Tatarstan's total agricultural exports by the end of 2024 amounted to $470.1 million, an increase of 1.1% compared to 2023. As of the beginning of December this year, the republic's agricultural exports totaled $409 million, with an increase of $15 million compared to the same period last year," he said.
Almaz Gamirov, Head of the Department of Science, Education, and Innovative Technologies, reported on the implementation of the federal project "Personnel in the Agricultural Sector." According to him, the project aims to create a "seamless trajectory" for training personnel from school to agricultural enterprises, which will contribute to the development of a system that unites educational institutions and businesses. The project has developed a set of measures to improve the training of highly qualified specialists and skilled workers.
Damir Minnebaev, Head of the Animal Breeding and Reproduction Department, spoke about the federal project "Creating Conditions for the Development of Scientific Research in Breeding and Genetics." "An agrobiotechnopark in the field of applied genetics in animal husbandry is being created in Tatarstan. This project is of strategic importance for the republic and the country as a whole, as it is directly linked to the objectives of improving food security and strengthening the scientific and technical potential of the agro-industrial complex," he added.
