Alternative energy sources are used in Tatarstan AIC

More and more countries have recently started using alternative energy sources. AIC of the Republic of Tatarstan is not an exception.

Thus, the Slesarevs’ peasant farm enterprise in Almetyevsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan has been using free solar energy within 2 years already. In summer water is heated here with the help of a solar water heater. The equipment is exploited seasonally only yet, but later it is planned to install solar water heaters which can be exploited all year round. According top the words of the specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, owing to such equipment electric energy consumption is at least twice less during water heating and the investments are covered within 2-4 years while the durability of solar cell batteries are 15-25 years.

Beside this, conventional power stations converting solar energy are installed on the roofs of some shops, eg. “Sarman-Myaso”, “Sarman-Agro” and “Sever” in Naberezhnye Chelny.
