All-Russia agricultural census 2016 is held in the Republic of Tatarstan

As of July 18, since the start of All-Russia agricultural census 2016 the data was collected concerning 24% of big, medium sized and small enterprises, 30% of micro enterprises, 34% of peasant farm enterprises, 54% of private households in the rural area and 53% - in the urban area, 50% of horticultural cooperatives in Tatarstan.

Over 500 census takers in 20 districts of the republic are conducting polls visiting private households in rural and urban areas with the help of pads and machine-readable documents.

Every day Tatarstanstat is monitoring the agricultural census – regional statistics departments collect and process data concerning the amount of venues and the total area of lands, and transmit the data into Tatarstanstat.

Tatarstan citizens regard with favour the biggest statistical survey of agricultural production and engage with census takers. According to the plan of Rosstat, it is planned to sum up the first preliminary results in Russia on the whole and constituent entities of the Russian Federation by October. They will contain the information on the total amount of venues, the total area of lands on the whole and in each constituent entity, the structure of the total land area.

All-Russia agricultural census finishes on August 15, 2016.
