The first strawberry harvest is ripe in Almetyevsk municipal district of Tatarstan

The first strawberry harvest is ripe on the fields of the strawberry and raspberry farm “Yagodnaya Dolina” in Yamash village, Almetyevsk municipal district, the Republic of Tatarstan. The other day, farmers started to reap the harvest.
130 km of strawberry beds and 50 km of raspberry beds were made on the farm this June.
It will be possible to taste raspberries next year.
Today the workers of the berry cluster, about 50 people, are picking up and weeding out strawberries. The workers are mainly students, schoolchildren, residents of Almetyevsk town, Russkiy Aktash, Verkhniy Aktash, Novonikolsk, Yamash villages.
Reaping will continue for 3-4 weeks more. First buyers are already purchasing the berries. The price is 200 rubles per kg.
