2nd conference of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives

The 2nd conference of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives with the participation of acting chief of the executive committee of the district Pavel Lokhanov took place in Kamskoye Ustye municipal district this week.

Chief of the Local Department of Agriculture and Foodstuff Ilfat Valiev, Chairman of the Tatarstan Association of Farmers and Farm Households Kamiyar Baitemirov, Chairman of the 2nd level cooperative of the Tatarstan Agro-Industrial Park Lenar Galimov, Chairman of the Farmers amd Farm Households Association of Kamskoe Ustye municipal district Akhmet Bikkinin, local farmers, directors of farm households, applicants for the programs “Young Farmer” and “Family Farms”, heads of villages, specialists of the Department of Agriculture and Foodstuff, as well as directors of divisions and administration of the district took part in the conference.

In his opening speech, Pavel Lokhanov noted that there was a number of problems in the district, but the authorities hoped for cooperation so that to change the situation and to facilitate the plans of farm households development.

Chairman of the Tatarstan Association of Farmers and Farm Households Kamiyar Baitemirov presented the programs on support of small farm households, development of family animal farms, and spoke on the positive experience of Pestretsy, Zelenodolsk, Arsk and Nurlat municipal districts concerning the creation of cooperatives.

“In every sphere of work there is a need for systematic approach. Our main task is to create legal instruments with the resources and reserves of agricultural producers. Kamskoe Ustye municipal district has a great potential. All we need is your initiative and active work. The most vital issue for agricultural producers is the price determination, that is why we need cooperation”, emphasized Kamiyar Baitemirov.

Chairman of the 2nd level cooperative of the Tatarstan Agro-Industrial Park Lenar Galimov presented some projects attractive for farmers: lift conveyors construction, growing of currant shrubs, processing of fruit and vegetables, processing of milk, slaughter houses construction.

“All we need is your initiative and active work. We guarantee distribution”, he assured.

Chief of the Department of Agriculture and Food Ilfat Valeev paid attention of the chairman of Association to the issues of methodic and hands-on assistance to young farmers, answered all the questions of the previous conference from directors of animal farms and farm households.
