Daily milk production in Tatarstan is 2,774.5 tons

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, by December 25 2014 the daily gross milk yield has made up 2,774.5 tons, which is by 145.3 tons (6%) more than it was last year.

The leading districts in milk production are Baltasi (155.9 tons), Mamadysh (140.0 tons), Arsk (133.8 tons) and Kukmor (133.5 tons) municipal districts.

By the beginning of the current month there was an increase of 55.9 tons.

The average milk yield per cow is the biggest in Mamadysh municilap district (17.8 kg), in Atnya municipal district it is 17.7 kg, in Saby and Baltasi municipal districts - 16.4 and 15.9 kg correspondingly.
