Under Control

In the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation the price policy for some kinds of agricultural products and the cost of the minimum foodstuff set in regions of the Volga Federal District have been discussed.

The latter is 2,797.82 rubles in the Republic of Mary-El, which has increased by 4.8%. In Mordovia it is 2,761.99 rubles, there has been an increase of 3.9%. In Tatarstan it is 2,813 rubles, which has increased by 3.8%. In Udmurtia it is 2,870.24 rubles, there has been an increase of 3.4%. In Chuvashia it is 2,768.65 rubles, which has increased by 4.4%.

In Mary-El there is a slight increase of prices for vegetables, milk and dairy products. Meanwhile there is a decrease of 1.3% in prices for chicken, 1.1% - fish, 17.6% - forage wheat, 15.5% - barley.

In Mordovia there is an increase of prices for milk and dairy products. Meanwhile there is a decrease of 3.2% in prices for beef, 6.8% - pork, 4.6% - poultry, 2.3% - milk, 23.8% - buckwheat, 12.65 – flour.

In Tatarstan there is a decrease of 3.2% in prices for beef, 28.9% - pork, 1.4% - poultry, 3.2% - milk, 1.1% - fish, 1.2% - salty herring. Meanwhile there is a seasonal rise of prices for vegetables.

In Udmurtia and Chuvashia there is a decrease of prices for pork.
