Welcome Day in Kazan State Agrarian University

An open day was held in the Kazan State Agrarian University on November 1.

Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, forest districts and administration of the Kazan State Agrarian University took part in the event.

Applicants from 20 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan came to the university.

The welcome day was opened by a traditional concert of university students.

The representative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan was the first to speak. The Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Kharis Musin told about work in the field of forestry emphasizing a great interest of the ministry in skilled specialists. The ministry helps graduates of the forestry faculty to find jobs.

The Chief of the Personnel Department and the Public Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Kashapov told about prospects for graduates with the agricultural background. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan offers great opportunities to young specialists working in rural areas.

Applicants listened to the deans of faculties and the directors of institutes very attentively. The latter told about peculiarities of major programs for the current year.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Bulat Ziganshin assured applicants and their parents that the student life would not be boring at the agrarian university.

After the official part of the event, the admission office organized free consultations for applicants on Mathematics, The Russian Language, Biology, Physics and Social Science.
