Ilshat Nuriyev was appointed the Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University
Today, by Order No. 50-kr of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated May 20, 2026, Ilshat Nuriyev was appointed Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University.
Ilshat Nuriyev's career is inextricably linked with the republic's agro-industrial complex—for over 10 years, since 2015, he headed the Arsky Municipal District of Tatarstan.
As a reminder, Ilshat Nuriyev was appointed Acting Rector following the issuance of Order No. 735 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated December 20, 2024, "On the reorganization of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education 'Kazan State Agrarian University'."
For reference: Ilshat Gabdelfartovich Nuriyev graduated from the Kazan Agricultural Institute with a degree in economics and management (1990) and the Moscow Commercial Academy with a degree in management (1996).
From 1983 to 1984, he was a tractor driver at the Vatan state farm in the Arsky District.
From 1990 to 1996, he was the head of the sausage shop at the Baltasinsky District Consumer Society, Baltasinsky District.
From 1996 to 1999, he was the deputy chairman of the Baltasinsky District Consumer Society, Baltasinsky District.
From 1999 to 2008, he was the general director of the Shemordan Meat-Processing Plant, Sabinsky District.
From 2008 to 2009, he was the vice-rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University, Kazan.
From 2009 to 2014, he was the Director of the Baltasinsky Butter and Dairy Plant, a branch of Vamin-Tatarstan OJSC.
From 2014 to 2015, he was the Head of the Executive Committee of the Arsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From 2015 to 2025, he was the Head of the Arsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. He holds a PhD in Economics.
From 2025 to 2026, he was the Acting Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University.
Since May 20, 2026, he has been the Rector of the Kazan State Agrarian University.
Honored Worker of the Food Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan (2006).
He was awarded the Medal "For Valiant Labor" (2017).
