Applications are now open for AgroSmena-2026, a summer educational program for schoolchildren in agricultural technology classes from across the country, run by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture for the second year in a row. The project aims to provide early career guidance and introduce students to modern professions in the agricultural sector.
Two 14-day educational sessions are planned for students, offering full immersion in agricultural professions. Students will have the opportunity to try their hand at geneticists, agricultural chemists, and biotechnologists, learn about chemical-biological, engineering, and digital technologies in the agricultural sector, work in teams, and interact with leading industry experts.
The program also includes excursions to modern agricultural facilities and specialized research centers. This will allow participants to see how high-tech agriculture works today and better understand the educational and career opportunities the industry offers.
AgroSmena offers two educational tracks. The "Science" track is suitable for students interested in research and analysis: they will work on scientific cases, prepare reports, and present their projects at the end of the session. The "Technology" track is aimed at those who prefer theory over practice. Students will understand the structure of various mechanisms, work with equipment, and compete in practical tasks.
To participate, register at agro-smena.rf by May 26, take an online test, complete the task, and attend an interview. The best candidates will receive an invitation to AgroSmena-2026, which will take place in July.
The program will provide schoolchildren with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the agro-industrial complex, gain new knowledge, find like-minded people, and take the first step toward a future career in the agro-industrial complex.
