Rustam Minnikhanov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Kazan Hippodrome, where a jockey demonstration took place.
Today, Tatarstan's Rais Rustam Minnikhanov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Kazan Equestrian Sports Complex. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov greeted the guests and introduced them to a specialized exhibit displaying agricultural and food products from Tatarstan enterprises.
The guests were introduced to the activities of the Kazan Equestrian Sports Complex, and a jockey demonstration also took place.
Kazan is currently hosting competitions that have brought together the strongest riders from Russian regions, including Tatarstan, as well as from countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, including Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
As a reminder, the 17th International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum" will take place on May 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Kazan Hippodrome (27/1 Albert Kamaleev Street). This event is intended not only to showcase the highest level of Russian horse breeding but also to strengthen international ties in equestrian sports and present Kazan as an attractive venue for major equestrian events.
