The new federal project "Small Agribusiness Development" offers new opportunities.

2 April 2026, Thursday

The federal project "Small Agribusiness Development" was launched in Russia in 2026. One of its key areas is the development of small rural bakeries through state support in form of grants.

An important requirement for participation in the grant selection process is completion of specialized training in organizing small rural bakeries and successful final certification. To this end, a new, unique continuing professional education program, "Bakery Creation and Management," has been developed at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "RIAMA."

The program is aimed at legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who are already engaged in, or plan to engage in, the production of bread and bakery products in rural areas. Participants will gain knowledge on all stages of establishing and operating a bakery in rural areas—from design to marketing finished products—from experienced instructors who are experts and practitioners in baking and business management.

Upon successful completion of the program and passing the final assessment, a certificate of additional professional education of the established standard will be issued. Training begins on April 6, 2026.

Support for small businesses is consistent with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
