Kazan to host the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum

1 April 2026, Wednesday

The 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum, a key national event in venture capital, private equity, and technology entrepreneurship, will be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, 2026.

Forum organizers: the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund, the Venture Capital Association (RVCA), the Association for Assistance to Digital Development, and the Idea Innovative Technology Park, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Venture Forum (RVF) is the largest event in venture capital, private equity, and technology entrepreneurship in Russia. Since its founding in 2005, the forum has become a key milestone in the development of the country's innovation ecosystem. The central theme of RVF-2026 will be "Technological Leadership – Investing in the Future." The forum will focus on Russia's scientific and technological leadership, the development of a technology entrepreneurship platform, investment infrastructure, and market trend analysis.

For startups, the forum provides an opportunity to raise funding, present their projects to investors, undergo acceleration and receive mentoring support, and establish business contacts with partners and industry experts.

For investors, it is a key platform for identifying promising startups and assessing their potential, participating in discussions of market trends, expanding their professional network, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Over the course of three days, participants—startups, investors, government representatives, and the scientific community—will discuss current trends in the venture capital industry, direct investment, and strategic directions for the development of technology entrepreneurship in Russia.

As part of this forum, a series of technical visits will be organized in 2026 to help strengthen partnerships between investors and regional organizations.

Over two decades, the forum has become not only a key national platform for discussing venture and private equity investments, technology entrepreneurship, and innovative development, but also a significant international event, a recognized gathering point for global market players. The participation of foreign delegations underscores its international recognition as a reputable platform for technology exchange and attracting foreign investment. This year, the forum will bring together representatives of the innovation ecosystem from more than 25 countries—the CIS, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East—consolidating its status as a global hub for technology exchange.

The business program will offer participants new formats: from panel discussions and closed investment sessions for investors and startups to specialized satellite events in the areas of "Bioeconomics" and "Creative Industries." For the first time, the program will feature a panel featuring family offices—specialized financial and asset management structures for families focused on direct investment in the technology sector. The forum will also host a youth day for the first time.

More than 6,000 participants, over 300 speakers and experts are expected to attend, and 150 high-tech startups, including 30 ambitious international projects, will be showcased at the forum.

Since its inception, more than 30,000 industry representatives have participated in the business program and exhibitions at the Russian Venture Forum, including over 3,500 experts and speakers, approximately 2,000 investors, and 1,000 startups. The forum traditionally serves as a platform for exchanging experiences, finding partners, and concluding strategic agreements.
