A delegation from the Republic of Tyva visited the Ministry

Today, a working meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Tyva was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The delegation from the Republic of Tyva was led by Chingis Bady, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Republic of Tyva. It also included Advisor to the Head of the Republic of Tyva, Alexander Pashchenko, and heads and representatives of major agro-industrial enterprises in the Republic of Tyva.

Lenar Garipov spoke about the achievements of Tatarstan's agro-industrial complex.

By the end of 2025, gross agricultural output exceeded 400 billion rubles, with comparable growth of 107.3% compared to 2024.

"The Republic is self-sufficient in terms of basic food products. "(The country's supply of meat and grain is over 100%, milk is over 160%, sugar is over 260%, and vegetable oil is over 7 times higher than the norm.)" he noted.

During the meeting, issues related to wool and felt processing, and the reproduction of meat products, particularly horse meat, were discussed. The parties are interested in further cooperation in livestock and crop production.

Particular attention was also paid to digitalization, selection, and genetics in livestock breeding and dairy production.
