Today, a roundtable discussion on "Modernization of the Machinery and Tractor Fleet Using Leasing and Banking Products, Trade-In, and Manufacturer and Dealer Promotions" was held at the Kazan Agro 2026 specialized agricultural exhibition. The discussion was moderated by Ilnar Gabbasov, Head of the Department of Engineering and Technical Support for the Agro-Industrial Complex at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Karimov noted that high technical support guarantees the production of competitive products in the required volumes and ensures the country's food security.
According to him, the technical potential allows for the execution of all technological operations within optimal timeframes, with high-quality repair and maintenance, and efficient work organization.
In 2025, farms purchased 2,596 units of equipment, worth over 10 billion rubles. "Of course, this was stimulated by the republican program for technical and technological modernization, which subsidized 30% of the cost of equipment, as well as initial and ongoing lease payments," emphasized Marat Karimov.
Updating the machinery and tractor fleet with energy-intensive, high-performance equipment allowed us to maintain energy supply at 187 hp per 100 hectares of crops.
Aleksey Nenartovich, Deputy Director of the Sales Department for the Russian Federation at Rostselmash, LLC, spoke about the company and the modernization of its machinery and tractor fleet. "Rostselmash has extensive experience working with farmers in the Republic of Tatarstan. We currently produce over 150 models and modifications of machinery. The company sets high standards for both its machinery and its maintenance. "We also offer 24/7 support to farmers, meaning spare parts are quickly delivered to the field," he added.
Ramis Fatykhov, Head of the Commercial Department at the August-Agrotekhnologii dealership, noted that the company's main activities include the use of liquid fertilizers, no-till technology, grain storage, and the production of its own seed material.
Mikhail Nikolaev, Deputy Head of the Innovation and Labor Productivity Committee of the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke on the topic of "Innovation and Labor Productivity." "We are addressing issues related to cybersecurity, import substitution, and artificial intelligence. We also have several major areas of focus in import substitution: auditing and monitoring information security, then implementation and technical support of existing solutions," he said.
Ilnar Gabbasov noted that the federal project "Labor Productivity" within the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" is ongoing. "One of the ways to reduce production costs is through measures aimed at increasing labor productivity. Our goal for the current year is to fully upgrade our equipment fleet by utilizing all available resources, mechanisms, and opportunities, including through Rosagroleasing. Rosagroleasing is a reliable partner, and our colleagues are always willing to accommodate us," he said.
Participants also discussed leasing solutions for agribusiness, the supply of original and replacement spare parts, fleet modernization and efficiency improvements, industry innovation, and labor productivity.
A roundtable discussion on "Implementation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Agricultural Production" was also held as part of Kazan Agro 2026. In 2025, 40,500 hectares of agricultural crops were treated using unmanned aerial vehicles in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Self-propelled sprayers covered an area of 4.2 million hectares.
"The use of unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture not only reduces labor costs but also significantly improves the efficiency of agronomic work, which is especially relevant in the context of climate change and the need to optimize resource use," said Marat Karimov.
During the exhibition, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Rostselmash Combine Plant.
The cooperation agreement on supporting the agro-industrial complex was signed by Marat Karimov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Konstantin Ryasnov, Director of the Sales Department for the Russian Federation at Rostselmash Combine Plant.
