The Kazan Agro 2026 Agricultural Exhibition is Open to Guests

10 February 2026, Tuesday

Today, the Tatar-inform news agency held a press conference dedicated to the specialized agricultural exhibition "Kazan Agro 2026." The exhibition will take place from February 11 to 13 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center and will bring together more than 300 companies and over 12,000 specialists representing enterprises, farms, research centers, and agricultural authorities in the Volga region.

Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, emphasized that the venue has already established itself as a key venue for productive dialogue between agricultural producers, representatives of science, business, industry ministries and agencies, for the exchange of best practices, professional development for agricultural specialists, and for negotiations with potential partners for new projects.

The exhibition's themes will traditionally cover key areas of the agro-industrial complex, including equipment and spare parts, livestock farming, crop production, digitalization, food processing, processing and storage, education, and science.

Lenar Garipov also spoke about shaping the future of human resources in the Volga region's agro-industrial sector. "Special attention at the exhibition will be given to the 'Science Slam,' dedicated to science in the agro-industrial complex in the context of student startups. This is a non-academic format for scientific communication in the form of short presentations by young scientists discussing their own research".

Increasing human resources in the agro-industrial complex is being implemented as part of the federal project "Human Resources in the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security."

Guzel Iskhakova, Director of the Kazan Agro-2026 Exhibition, spoke about the exhibition's new section, "Agritourism." It reflects the growing interest in rural recreation and the potential for farm development through tourism projects.

A key event will take place on February 12: an extended meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will summarize the region's agricultural work for the year and identify priority areas for further development.

Visitors to Kazan Agro will have a unique opportunity to learn about key market trends, explore cutting-edge technologies and products, and find new partners to secure lucrative contracts for the new season.
