Today, Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Aktanysh Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit. He was accompanied by Lenar Zaripov, head of the district.
At the Yashlek Youth Center, Marat Zyabbarov toured an exhibition of tractor equipment. Students from the Aktanysh Technological College previously presented their work at the "21st Century Kulibin" (Homemade Craftsman) exhibition and competition for homemade tractor equipment. "It's very gratifying to see the students' creations. I think they will become highly qualified engineers in the future and find their rightful places in society, and our task is to support them in their endeavors," the minister said.
Marat Zyabbarov then took part in the reporting meeting of the Aktanysh Municipal District Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, titled "On the Results of the Socioeconomic Development of the Aktanysh Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2025 and the Objectives for 2026." During the meeting, key performance indicators, achievements, and priority areas for the district's further development were discussed.
The Minister noted that Tatarstan continues its sustainable socioeconomic development. Based on key indicators, the republic confidently ranks first in the Volga Federal District and among the leaders nationwide.
The republic also traditionally holds a leading position in the agricultural sector. Agricultural output exceeded 400 billion rubles for the first time, placing the republic in the top five regions of the Russian Federation in this indicator.
According to the 2025 results, the Aktanysh District ranks 15th in the agro-industrial complex rankings. The district's grain growers made a significant contribution to the industry's success, harvesting 151,000 tons of grain and legume crops and 33,000 tons of oilseeds.
"Agricultural production is a key focus for the Aktanysh district. Gross production volume, according to estimates, increased by 6.1% across the district's agro-industrial complex as a whole," added Marat Zyabbarov.
Marat Zyabbarov also called for a strong focus on training and attracting personnel. "Last year, the federal project 'Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex' was launched as part of the national project 'Technological Support for Food Security.' One of the project's steps is to upgrade agricultural technology classrooms in rural schools. This will enable the introduction of a new, modern model of specialized education with an in-depth curriculum in the natural sciences and the exact disciplines. The key principle is close collaboration between schools, colleges, universities, and future employers. The state supports this initiative by reimbursing investors for 90% of the costs," the minister emphasized. Lenar Zaripov summarized the key results of 2025 and noted that agriculture is the foundation of the district's economy: gross output is 8.6 billion rubles; milk production is 86,576 tons; milk yield per cow is 8,264 kg; 1,605 people are employed in the industry; and the purchase of machinery and equipment is 485 million rubles.
At the end of the event, Marat Zyabbarov presented state awards for many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, and exemplary performance of official duties.
