Today, the Ministry held a videoconference meeting with municipal districts on the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was chaired by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, Marat Zyabbarov emphasized that the steady positive dynamics in production are primarily the result of the daily dedication of farmers, district administrations, and all agencies working for the benefit of the republic's agro-industrial complex.
According to him, 2025 was a favorable year for the crop production industry. This year also presents significant challenges: 4.3 million tons of grain, 2.3 million tons of sugar beets, at least 1 million tons of oilseeds, 280,000 tons of potatoes and vegetables in agricultural and peasant farms, as well as the procurement of sufficient feed.
"To produce the specified volumes, it is necessary to ensure the sowing campaign has all the necessary resources—seeds, fertilizers, fuel and lubricants, equipment, and labor," the minister added.
Speaking about technical modernization, Marat Zyabbarov noted: "The goal for 2026 is to modernize at least 3% of tractors, 4% of grain harvesters, and 5% of forage harvesters. This year, approximately 4 billion rubles are planned for the "Technical Modernization" budget, with tenders for purchased equipment announced between 2023 and 2025," the minister emphasized.
The minister urged the industry to take advantage of state support measures, including one-time payments of 750,000 rubles to young professionals employed in the republic's agro-industrial complex. The national project "Technological Support for Food Security" is helping to ensure the industry has qualified specialists to build a sustainable workforce.
Marat Zyabbarov also focused on livestock farming, small-scale farming, and the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Tatarstan.
