In January of this year, the Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant took over the Zelenodolsk nursing home for the elderly and disabled, "House of Care." The plant will provide residents with dairy products free of charge on an ongoing basis, including soft cottage cheese and fermented baked milk, under its own brand, "Ochen Vazhnaya Korova." The total monthly charitable supply will be over 130 kilograms.
A new, specialized nursing home with smart wards, designed to accommodate and care for 120 people, opened in Zelenodolsk in October 2025 as part of the federal project "Older Generation" of the national project "Family." It houses elderly people left without family care, patients with severe diagnoses, people with dementia, and bedridden patients. The youngest resident is currently 47 years old, and the oldest is 93.
As a reminder, the plant implements comprehensive social support programs in Tatarstan. It regularly provides free dairy products to the women's and children's shelters "Kolybel" in Kazan and "Mama's Nest" in Zelenodolsk, donates dairy products to the hospice of the Angela Vavilova Foundation, and provides support to residents of the Nurlat Orphanage, as well as to veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Zelenodolsk, Buinsk, and Chistopol.
