In 2025, farms in the Republic of Tatarstan purchased more than 2,200 units of equipment worth approximately 10 billion rubles. This allowed them to modernize 2.5% of their tractors, 3.3% of their grain harvesters, and 4.5% of their forage harvesters.
"By 2026, we set the goal of modernizing at least 3% of our tractors, 4% of our grain harvesters, and 5% of our forage harvesters. To achieve our fleet modernization targets, we recommend using all available preferential leasing programs and dealer promotions," said Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The minister identified preparing equipment for the 2026 field season as a top priority for the current period. During the repair season, approximately 9,000 tractors, 3,300 combine harvesters, and 9,600 seeding and tillage machines will need to be repaired.
Repairing the entire agricultural machinery fleet requires approximately 6.5 billion rubles. To date, farms have purchased spare parts worth 2.2 billion rubles, which is 34% of the required volume.
Marat Zyabbarov urged farm and agricultural holding managers to purchase spare parts in a timely manner to avoid repair delays. "Dealers have the necessary spare parts in stock. I ask you to work closely with them and expedite the submission of orders for imported spare parts, as delivery times for some items can be up to three months. Furthermore, we recommend using marketplaces to purchase necessary spare parts, as they are also capable of meeting farms' needs," the minister added.
To ensure timely completion of spring field work, tractors, tillage and seeding equipment must be fully repaired by March 15.
