Today, a meeting of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Workers of the Russian Federation was held at the Ministry. The meeting was attended by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Farida Garifullina, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Workers of the Russian Federation; Marat Gafarov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan; and chairmen of district organizations of the Trade Union and primary trade union organizations of enterprises in the industry.

Lenar Garipov noted that today the agro-industrial complex plays a key role in ensuring food security in the republic and makes a significant contribution to the economy of Tatarstan. "Achieving our goals is impossible without the coordinated efforts of all industry participants, and first and foremost, without the dedicated work of agricultural workers. "You, dear colleagues, are the main driving force behind the development of our agro-industrial complex," he added.

According to him, successful work in agriculture requires not only professionalism but also decent working conditions, social security, and confidence in the future. "We are always open to dialogue and ready to work together with the Agricultural Workers' Union to address pressing issues related to working conditions, wages, health care, and other social aspects," he emphasized.

During the meeting, Farida Garifullina presented a report on the results of the 9th Congress of the Agricultural Workers' Union of the Russian Federation. "Despite global geopolitical changes, the Russian agro-industrial complex is showing worthy results, has firmly established and maintained a leading position in the international food market, and has good potential for development. Today, the agro-industrial complex faces new, ambitious challenges: increasing technological sovereignty, transitioning to modern domestic equipment and machinery, and creating conditions for further investment," Farida Garifullina noted.

Nina Valieva, Lead Advisor of the Department of Science, Education, and Innovative Technologies, noted that this year, Tatarstan began implementing the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex," part of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security." Its implementation aims to create a seamless trajectory for training personnel from school to agricultural enterprises, which will facilitate the development of a system that unites educational institutions and businesses. "As part of the project, a set of measures has been developed that will improve the level of training for highly qualified specialists and blue-collar workers," said Nina Valieva.
