A new "Farmer's Island" opened in Kazan today. It features farm products, including dairy, meat, sausage, and confectionery products, from 30 agricultural producers from 17 municipal districts of the republic. Niyaz Khuramshin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, attended the opening.

Leyla Mingazova has become the operator of the new "Farmer's Island." An entrepreneur with retail experience, she manages the marketplace and brings together local agricultural and food producers.

Niyaz Khuramshin noted: "This site is another accessible location where you can purchase high-quality farm products from local producers. It opens new markets for our farmers, and provides residents with confidence in quality. I am confident that this "island" will become a continent of trust!"

The project is being implemented as part of the federal project "Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" with the support of the Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship Corporation and provides agricultural and food producers with the opportunity to display their products in special "islands."

With the support of the Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship Corporation, 96 "Farmer Islands" have been established in 38 regions of Russia, where over 1,100 producers already supply their products. Six "Farmer Islands" operate in the Republic of Tatarstan, including four in Kazan, one each in Arsk and the village of Vysoka Gora.
