The All-Russian "I'm in Agro" Competition, a large-scale project of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Rosmolodezh, Rosselkhozbank, and the Russian Union of Youth, has opened at the Timiryazev Center in Moscow. This project aims to create conditions for youth self-fulfillment, engage them in the socioeconomic development of small territories, and enhance the appeal of the rural lifestyle. Registration is open until December 1, 2025.
Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, delivered a welcoming address:
"We have three main goals. The first is to popularize the agro-industrial complex among young people. We welcome young people to agriculture and want to demonstrate that it is one of the most technologically advanced, modern, and promising industries in the country today. The second is to support the interest of those already working in the agro-industrial complex. We need new ideas, fresh perspectives, and initiatives that will help develop production and improve efficiency. “And third, to show everyone that it is thanks to our industry that the country is provided with high-quality and delicious food,” noted Oksana Lut.
The competition will bring together young people aged 14 to 35 in the following categories: “Choose the Future” for schoolchildren and students; “Change for the Better” for agricultural industry employees and rural workers; “Inspire Others” for agro-bloggers; and “Create Your Own” for agribusiness entrepreneurs.
“The agro-industrial complex is a dynamically developing industry, employing millions of Russians and actively implementing new technologies, including artificial intelligence. There is a wealth of work in agriculture, and it is incredibly interesting. Our key goal is to continue developing the industry and attracting more young professionals. That is why we launched the “I am in Agro” platform several years ago. This is a platform aimed at developing education and careers in agriculture. We work with schoolchildren, students, and young professionals. "The platform also forms the basis for the 'I'm in Agro' competition and allows us to take this initiative to a new level, contributing to the development of agriculture," noted Deputy Chair of the Board Elena Baturova.
The best participants and winners of the project will receive expert, resource, and investment support from the project's founders and partners to implement their initiatives.
To participate, you must record a video profile on VKontakte, register on the competition platform, and publish your entry by December 1, 2025.
