Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Commission on Compliance with Official Conduct Requirements for Civil Servants and Conflict of Interest Resolution, chaired by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also present at the Commission meeting were Rustam Gayazov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Monitoring Department of the Raisa of the Republic's Anti-Corruption Policy Office, and employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Commission reviewed an employee's notification of a personal interest in the performance of official duties that could lead to a conflict of interest.
Following the meeting, the Commission adopted the following decisions:
1. To recognize that, in the performance of official duties, a personal interest may lead to a conflict of interest by a civil servant;
2. Instruct the employee to take measures to prevent conflicts of interest and refrain from making management decisions when reviewing applications;
3. Instruct the Ministry's Audit and Anti-Corruption Department to conduct ongoing reviews of the validity of state support measures and to monitor the achievement of these measures. The results of this work will be reviewed at a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission under the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
