The Ministry held a ceremony honoring a veteran of Tatarstan's agro-industrial complex.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a ceremony honoring William Khamitov, a veteran of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year, William Khamitov celebrates his 75th birthday. Over many years of fruitful work, this respected veteran agriculturalist has made a worthy contribution to crop production in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Over the years of his professional career, the veteran successfully held leadership positions in organizations within the agro-industrial complex of the Zelenodolsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, including: foreman, department agronomist, and chief agronomist at the Ovoshchevod state farm, agronomist at the Ovoshcheprom trust, head of the agricultural department of the Zelenodolsk City Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and chairman of the Sovet collective farm.
He also worked for a long time in the Zelenodolsk Department of Agriculture and Food as a quality inspector, lead agronomist, chief agronomist, and deputy head of the department.
The veteran made a significant contribution to the development and enhancement of the socioeconomic potential of the Zelenodolsk Municipal District of the Republic.
On behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin congratulated the veteran and presented him with a letter of thanks.
For his significant contribution to the development of agriculture, his professionalism, and many years of dedicated work, William Khamitov received a congratulatory letter from the Council of Veterans of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and the "Honorary Veteran of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan" badge.
The event was attended by Dmitry Yashin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Mars Aliyev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan; members of the Presidium of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan; and employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
