Today, the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference on the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov. Deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts, heads of agricultural departments, heads of ministry departments, and major investors participated.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Yashin reported that the grain harvest is almost complete. To date, 4,624,000 tons of grain have been harvested, with an average yield of 37.6 centners per hectare. Active harvesting of late crops, potatoes, sugar beets, oilseeds, and corn is underway. The upcoming harvest area totals 450,000 hectares.
Ilnar Gabbasov, Head of the Agricultural Engineering and Technical Support Department, discussed fallow field cultivation, occupational safety at agricultural enterprises, and the machinery renewal process.
He gave a more detailed report on crop cultivation using UAVs. "This year, farms in the republic plan to cultivate crops using unmanned aerial systems on an area of approximately 31,000 hectares, of which more than 20,000 hectares have already been cultivated."
Siren Nigmatzyanov, Head of the Livestock Development Department, then summarized the results of milk production and forage harvesting.
"As of September 25, 461,807 tons of hay, 3,023,580 tons of haylage, and 1,526,281 tons of silage have been harvested. The weather has been favorable for harvesting in recent weeks." "I ask you to maximize the deployment of equipment and personnel to harvest corn for silage before the start of the rainy season," the department head emphasized.
Siren Nigmatzyanov also spoke about upcoming zonal seminars on livestock farming and forage production, which will be held in the Atninsky District on September 30 and in the Alekseevsky District on October 2.
Deputy Minister Rustem Gainullov reported on the importance of implementing programs to support small farms. He particularly noted the provision of subsidies for self-employed private farms.
Summing up, the minister focused on organizing labor safety and ensuring biological security at livestock farms in the Republic of Tatarstan. He also urged the active and coordinated work of agricultural departments, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rosselkhoznadzor, and the Veterinary Service of the Republic of Tatarstan.
