A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Ministry
Today, a working meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Ministry, chaired by Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also attending were Rushan Khairutdinov, General Director of Krasny Vostok Management Company LLC; Lenar Khasanov, General Director of Edelweiss Group OJSC; Irina Valieva, General Director of KV Agro JSC; and Ekaterina Utkina, Financial Director of Krasny Vostok Agroholding JSC.
The delegation included Nuriddin Mamajonov, Deputy Khokim of the Fergana Region; Kamol Davronov, First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan; Timur Surenin, Advisor to the Khokim of the Fergana Region on the Development of Trade, Economic, and Investment Relations with the CIS Countries and the Russian Federation; and Vakhobjon Khoshimov, Head of the Department for the Development and Monitoring of Investment Programs.
Rustem Gainullov discussed the republic's export potential and presented the capabilities of Tatarstan's agro-industrial complex.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic ties in the agro-industrial complex and noted prospects for joint cooperation in support of the national "Export" project.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the possibility of establishing a fruit and vegetable processing plant in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The guests are also interested in supplying cattle meat and halal-compliant food products from Tatarstan to Uzbekistan.
