In Tatarstan, the Republican Committee of the Russian Agricultural Workers' Union organized a first aid training course.
Recently, the Republican Committee of the Russian Agricultural Workers' Union organized a training event for chairmen of district and primary trade union organizations, as well as authorized representatives and occupational safety specialists from Tatarstan's agricultural sector. A total of 105 participants attended the event. The goal of the training was to improve knowledge and skills in providing first aid in various emergency situations.
The keynote speaker was Nina Gurvich, a renowned expert and traumatologist at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care, who has developed unique methods and approaches to first aid training. The workshop covered response techniques for a variety of medical emergencies, from simple bruises and sprains to serious conditions such as loss of consciousness, bone fractures, and severe bleeding.
The training was interactive, combining theory and practice. Participants learned trauma care techniques, simulated potential emergencies, and learned to quickly respond to emergencies such as seizures or loss of consciousness. Particular attention was paid to analyzing common mistakes people make when providing first aid.
In addition to the practical component, significant attention was paid to studying the legal aspects of the responsibilities and obligations of first aid providers. Experienced instructor Nina Gurvich provided a detailed explanation of existing laws and regulations governing first aid.
A key feature of the training was its realistic approach to learning. Each participant had the opportunity to experience a real emergency, making decisions under time constraints. This experience significantly increased each participant's readiness to effectively handle various situations that arise in the workplace and at home.
