The Kazan Digital Week 2025 International Forum opened today in Kazan.
The forum and specialized exhibition will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center (September 17-19, 2025).
The opening ceremony was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of Tatarstan, Oleg Kachanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
This is the sixth Kazan Digital Week.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that this event grows in scale and significance each year, welcoming the participants.
The forum is well represented by both Russian and international participants. Approximately 20,000 participants from 75 countries have registered. These include Belarus, India, China, the UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and others.
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that the forum will cover 10 key topics.
The development and implementation of artificial intelligence as a driver of development across all industries is at the center of the agenda. More than 140 events will be held, including strategic sessions by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, Mass Media, presentations of real-life AI implementation cases in various sectors (public administration, medicine, transportation, education, construction), a forum on blockchain technologies and the crypto industry (Kazan Cryptoforum 2025), conferences, sections, hackathons, and webinars.
There will also be a mini-robot battle, an information security tournament featuring veterans of the Air Defense Forces, and much more.
At the 7,000-square-meter exhibition, 302 leading Russian and international IT companies and startups will showcase their solutions.
Kazan Digital Week 2025 is expected to become an effective platform for discussing promising trends and best practices in digital transformation, showcasing achievements and technological solutions, and exchanging experiences between industry leaders and innovators from around the world.
Kazan Digital Week 2025 will discuss trends in digitalization in the agro-industrial complex and innovations in agriculture in support of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State."
Discussions on digital technologies in agriculture and public administration are planned on the following topics: "Taking Farming to a New Level with Artificial Intelligence," "Digital Technologies Guarding Efficiency," "Government Support for Digitalization in the Agro-Industrial Complex," "Where Precision Leads, There's a Harvest: Next-Generation Agronomy," and "Science and Technology in the Agro-Industrial Complex: Analysis of Digital Trends and Solutions."

Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Oleg Kachanov, in turn, emphasized that the forum has repeatedly proven its importance as one of the year's key events in digital development.
