The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan honored Nazib Mazitov and Marsil Akhmadeev, veterans of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Nazib Mazitov celebrates his 85th birthday this year. Over many years of fruitful work, he has made a worthy contribution to the fields of mechanization and crop production in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. He holds the honorary title of "Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation," he is a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in Science and Technology, a laureate of the Government Prize of the Russian Federation, and a laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in Science and Technology.
During his long career, Nazib Mazitov has received 35 patents and inventor's certificates. He is also the co-author of a modular machine system that was awarded 13 medals at Russian agro-industrial exhibitions: seven gold, three silver, three bronze, and the Grand Prix for the "Best Tillage Machine of 2006."
Marsil Akhmadeev turned 86 this year, and he has dedicated his entire life to the science of our republic's agricultural sector. This veteran agriculturalist paid particular attention to economics. He is the first director and founder of the Tatar Institute for Personnel Retraining and Agribusiness. Akhmadeev's research focuses on reforming the agricultural sector in a market economy. He always performed his work in a timely, disciplined, and high-quality manner.
On behalf of Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Sabirov, member of the Presidium of the Council of Veterans of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, congratulated the veterans and presented them with letters of gratitude.
For their significant contribution to the development of agriculture, professionalism, and many years of dedicated work, Nazib Mazitov and Marsil Akhmadeev received letters of congratulations from the Council of Veterans of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and the "Honorary Veteran of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan" badges.
Members of the Presidium of the Council of Veterans of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, prominent scientists, and ministry employees participated in the honoring of the veterans.
